As you all know, I am a huge musical fan. I love all kinds of musicals, including Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables. Well, in St. Louis this past week at The Muny (a huge outside theater) had Les Miserables, and I found out through BroadwayWorld.com that Hugh Panaro (my favorite Broadway actor and Phantom) was playing Jean Valjean. Of course, I was not going to miss this opportunity to miss him live and in St. Louis! Not only that, but Norm Lewis (the 25th Anniversary O2 Concert's Javert) was reprising his role as Javert also! There is one pet peeve that I have on here, and I hope that you guys share in my annoyance. My pet peeve is this: when people look at your work, dislike it, and then COMMENT on it about how much they dislike it, how you screwed up, and so on. Okay, I will admit that I'm not the greatest artist or writer in the world, but I at least try to put my artwork and writings out there. Will they get picked up? No, and I'm not expecting it to. Am I okay with people using my stuff (for instance, the BDB banners)? Not really, but I know that I put it on dA to share my talents and anyone can take it or download it (even if it is copyrighted as my work).
